Back in the saddle again-ish (how to install VMTools and OpenVPN)

Still spent some time doing maintenance, but this time I decided to build kali from scratch using the iso, and you have to manually install things like openvpn and vmtools.  No big deal.

Open VPN install:

apt-get install openvpn

apt-get install network-manager-openvpn network-manager-openvpn gnome

once done you have to restart the service (i think anyway, i rebooted and it didnt work until i found this command)

/etc/init.d/networking restart

to install vm tools

apt update && apt -y full-upgrade

this does a full and could update the kernel, so when its done reboot, then type

apt -y install open-vm-tools-desktop fuse

then reboot again.

I use keepass for my passwords and vmtools is important for copy/pasting my passwords into the guest os.
